چکیده
The energy-energy correlator (EEC) is an event shape observable which probes the angular correlations of energy depositions in detectors at high collider facilities. It has been investigated extensively context precision QCD. In this work, we introduce a novel definition EEC adapted to Breit frame deep-inelastic scattering (DIS). back-to-back limit, propose sensitive universal transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions and fragmentation functions, it can be studied within traditional TMD factorization formalism. We further show that new insensitive experimental pseudorapidity cuts, often imposed laboratory due detector acceptance limitations. work singular distributions for are obtained soft collinear effective theory up $\mathcal{O}({\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{s}^{3})$ verified by full QCD calculations $\mathcal{O}({\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{s}^{2})$. resummation limit performed next-to-next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. After incorporating nonperturbative effects, present comparison our predictions pythia 8 simulations.

Jets in Deep Inelastic Scattering and High Energy
Recent results on jet production in neutral current deep inelastic scattering and high energy photoproduction at the HERA electron-proton-collider are briefly reviewed. The results are compared to QCD expectations in NLO and αs determinations using these data are summarized.

Very-high-energy-resolution measurements using X-rays can be achieved by extreme backreflection (Bragg angle close to 90°) f rom perfect crystals. This technique allowed the development of the instrument INELAX for inelastic scattering experiments at the HARWI wiggler at DORIS, DESY Hamburg. Recently, a high energy resolution of 9 meV could be achieved, and the instrument proved to be an excell...

Recent deep inelastic results from the H1 collaboration are presented. The topics covered include inclusive diffractive physics, the determination of αS using the event shapes, the study of the hadronic final state at low x with single particles and with jets, the structure function measurements in particular F p 2 at low Q and the high Q physics both in neutral and charged current.

These lectures include an introduction to the partonic description of the proton, the photon and the ‘colour singlet’, as seen in inclusive and semi-inclusive DIS, in e+e− collisions, and in diffractive processes, respectively. Their formal treatment using structure, fragmentation, and fracture functions is outlined giving an insight into the perturbative QCD framework for these functions. Exam...
